"Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes". Many of us treat this quote as truth, but we can't help but notice that the fashion industry chooses to debut only certain types of women as their models. Although these models are undeniably beautiful, it can be argued that photoshopping and retouching model images set a standard of beauty that is unattainable and unrealistic for an overwhelming majority of women.

Aerie, a lingerie retailer and intimate apparel sub-brand owned by American Eagle Outfitters, is putting an end to unrealistic body expectations by featuring women who represent many body types. Aerie's new campaign features curvy model, Barbie Ferreria, who has become an advocate for self confidence and body image for women around the world. Barbie's images will be untouched for the Aerie campaign. Barbie, along with other curvy and plus size models, are bringing awareness to body-shaming and teaching all of us to love the bodies we were blessed with.

At Nudest, we want you to love your body and your skin. Let us help you find your True Nude shade by using our NUDEMETER
